Through our Scratch Series - where we're constantly searching for the right ingredients and the best way to use them - we discovered that boiling a portion of the mash gives us notes of caramel and fresh-baked bread that we crave in our malty beers. Hallertau Tradition hops add a subtle floral and herbal undercurrent to this toasty sweet Fest Lager. We taste: caramel, fresh-baked bread, flowering herbs.

Pours clear copper. Weak aroma. Marzen light. Nice sweet malt body but finishes thin. Not a lot of character. Pretty average but worth a taste.

A really solid Oktoberfest. Nice caramel malt and biscuit flavor without being too sweet. Moderate hoppiness with mostly floral, slightly citrusy notes. Great mouthfeel.
