Notes:
When we make our annual pilgrimage to the hop-growing hotbed of Yakima Valley, we’re like kids in a candy store. We eyeball the hops on the bines, crush them in our hands and rub them til their oils fill the air. LolliHop brings together three of our favorites. Dry-hopping with Citra and Mosaic layers in notes of orange, grapefruit and melon, while Azacca in the kettle adds hints of papaya and pineapple. Locally harvested rustic pale malt provides the backbone, and wheat and oats make this beer silky smooth with a touch of haze.
We taste: pear, citrus, hint of melon.

16oz can stamped FRESHEST BY 07/08/2022 16:11 220309-807 poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass at fridge temp 8.2% ABV. The beer pours mostly bright light amber in color with off white head. The head recedes to a fluffy ring and coats the glass in lacing. The aroma is mild with candied orange and caramel. The taste is semisweet caramel with big juicy tangerine, orange and grapefruit citrus. Medium bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a semi dry finish. No trace of the ABV. Overall, very, very good IIPA.

This and Perpetual have the same problem to me. They're good in every way except they lowkey taste like water. It's bitter but there's zero flavor here even on tap. Bore snore.
Trying a full glass on tap now not just a taster and yeah...I suppose if I really want a double ipa at my job I'd get this after work but out of all the double ipa's this is just lost in the fog. Meh.

A good Imperial IPA. Poured from a pint can into a pint glass, this beer is a clear, bright gold color with a bubbly, foamy white head. Head retention is a bit better than average (the carbonation dies down pretty fast) and there are a few thick bands of foamy lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste are as the can advertises: citrus (mainly orange and grapefruit and to a lesser degree, tropical fruit (mainly pineapple). There is a nice balance between malt and hops and a pretty good bitterness level. Quite tasty. Mouthfeel is rich and crisp, once again a good balanced IPA. The alcohol presence is slightly noticeable with a mild "bite" but this blends in nicely with the bitterness. The finish is smoother, probably a result of the oats. A well-crafted, strong IPA.

Pours a straw yellow with a white-like haze to it under a spongy white head that throws some coral-like lacing against the glass wall. While cold, the nose s lightly floral and the taste does have a lightly sweet citrus vibe to it until a long bittering end. At first, I might have thought maybe some El Dorado or new age southern hemisphere hop, but the Citra and Mosaic start to come through as it warms up, and subsequently I warm up to it.
The beer clears up, also transitioning towards a golden body while remaining light in general color. The nose has a lemony citrus with some sweeter fruit notes, perhaps the pineapple the notes indicate. There's a skin/pith aroma on the edge of my senses each time I inhale, though, which is good. Light and pretty clean crackery malts than basically just lay the groundwork for the hops. Often, this can lead to too much of a hop profile, but there is nice balance to this beer.
More warmth brings a little more sweetness to the taste, in line with the higher ABV DIPA style, and wafts of herbal scents. The body grows a bit in concert with the sweetness. However, sweetness isn't the only thing that increases with warmth, as the bitterness keeps pace. The two seem to pick ends of the beer to shine, sweet up front and bitterness in back, again as expected for a DIPA. Overall, this ends up a balanced brew with a clean malt profile that gets citrus peel laid over it, with a bit of pith (and just a dash of dank) to set the palate up for the next sip.

A fruity treat from Troegs. It's a hazy pour with a bubbly white dissipating head. Citrus and tropical fruit aromas emanate from the pop top immediately. Out of the gate, the flavors roll out and evolve nicely--citrus, pineapple, melon. The complexity doesn't last through the glass though. It kind of levels off with melon being predominant. Could have been great, but still, very good.

Poured from pint can into a tulip glass. Pours an ever so slightly hazy solid gold with a soft white head that falls to a cap. A few carbonation bubbles rise up. You can smell the citrus immediately with grapefruit, orange, pineapple dominating. Up close, you get a bit of ripe cantaloupe and it gets a bit dank as it warms up. Taste follows with citrus up front, a bit of bitterness in the middle, and finish is dank and aftertaste lasts a few minutes. Alcohol is slightly present. Feel is light side of medium bodied, smooth, with a slight zip of carbonation. Overall, I like this beer quite a bit. Drinks easier than the ABV would suggest. I'd hoped for a bit more bitterness, but not a deal breaker here.

16 ounce can poured into a tulip glass. Freshest by 7/7/2022, so plenty fresh.
L---Crystal clear medium gold color. Big fluffy white head. Good retention and excellent lacing.
S---Citrus and melon as advertised.
T---Citrus & melon follow from the nose. I had to look for the pear, but it was there.
F----Fairly light feel for its ABV. Very well carbonated.
O---I was exited to try this since I've never seen it before. It was very good, as hoped.

Aroma: grapefruit, pine, passionfruit, blueberry, candied orange peel, marmalade. Aroma has that wet sock thing going on too (mosaic). Taste is right along all of those lines. The combo keeps it interesting without being overwhelming. Bitterness and bready malt backbone keep it balanced. Overall, a solid DIPA for those looking to take a break from hazys while still packing a fruity punch.

Poured chilled in a tulip from the can
A hazy golden with thick white head with fine bead lace clings well
The smell is hop scented with aromatics that are herbal, tropical with a subtle citrus odor like grapefruit with melon-like fragrance
The feel and taste are excellentcwith mild bitterness and malt sweetness with medium high carbonation and dry semi bitter finish with flavors of orange rind and gently topical taste like lime and mild mango with fruity melon accent yet light herbal hop flavor and low malt sweetness with subtle yeast that supports the hops well. The hops linger with subtle spice of hops in finish
This is a very good Imperial Ipa overall since it is smooth in bitterness wiith great aroma and hop flavor and slightly stronger abv but it is well hidden
