On tap at Hucklebucks, Pottsville Pa this evening, Troegs Tap Takeover event. Listed as a hazy IPA brewed with Citra, Galaxy, and Simcoe hops.
Very nice pour by the bartender, hazy, cloudy orange/yellow body with a big bright white head which persists throughout leaving very good lacing.
Fruity aroma, mostly grapefruit & Pineapple, but with some melon thrown in for good measure.
Upon tasting, the fruity notes come through, it's a pretty soft beer, but the hop hit comes very late in the drink. The abv of 7.4 leaves a nice warmth in the back of the throat,
Mouth is between medium and full, finish is a run of fruity, hoppy, then warmth.
Overall, glad I got to try this, (three times actually) A nice easy drinking not bitter ipa. The abv does sneak up on you a bit. Good beer overall.
