16oz can into a pint glass. Freshest by 4/22/21, so plenty fresh. 4 pack picked up at the brewery this morning.
Paraphrasing from the can. White wheat, raw wheat, and Vienna malt. German northern brewer hops and Troegs Dreamweaver Wheat yeast.
Looks very good in the glass. Quite clear medium amber body, odd for the style, which is usually cloudy. Small white head shrinks to a faint ring and covering, leaving nice lacing initially.
Strong aroma here. Wheaty, with an undercurrent of banana/clove.
Taste exactly follows the nose. Strong tasting beer. Lots of wheat. Clove very much in the background.
Mouth closer to full than medium, finish a touch bitey, and the aforementioned wheat
Overall, sorry to be repetitive, but this is all about the strong wheat taste. Some other flavors, clove, banana, malt, hover in the background. Enjoying this one, but doubt I could handle more than one in a session. The abv is very well hidden.
