12 ounce can. On the lemony side, color-wise, and hazed. It's very tasty. Fruity - mostly tropical, but a little of that grapefruit bitterness that I like. The grain bill keeps the bitterness in check but also some crackers or something like that. Long aftertaste as well. Very good.

Hazy yellowish orange. Nice citrusy hop aroma and flavor. Good balance with decent bitterness. Medium bodied with a nice citrusy hop finish. Better than the regular version.

Pours a semi-constant but pleasing medium toned gold,
Smell is pungent, piney and honeysuckle, very malty.
Taste is malty, sweet, smooth. Pine and honeysuckle, very malty.
Well-hopped, crisp and refreshing. Goes down very easily for a 9.5er.

Decent offering here that hides its 9.5% ABV pretty well with a large body and deeply sweet malt base. Hops are juicy and tropical. They try to cut through the sweetness but don't entirely achieve their mission. Also, there is a bubblegum flavor that invades the proceedings which doesn't really belong. Considering that this brewery has decided to enter what has become a competitive IPA stovepipe market in grocery stores and mini marts, this is pretty solid, albeit a bit too sweet. I could drink again on a whim, but I'd likely reach for a competitor can first

Standard haze. Big juicy nose. Keeps overripe tropical and citrusy flavors in check and in balance. Never feels heavy or tastes boozy. One of the better versions of this style if you find it fresh.

Good looking with a big head and opaque yellow hue. Grapefruit and maybe guava in the nose with some other tropical notes as well. Flavor is relaxed and fruity with a balancing malt note and lupulin dust. Medium resin in the finish. Not really bitter, in the traditional pine sap in your face way but more in the resin soaking on the end of your tongue the next few minutes way. Really holds the alcohol in check pretty well, despite the abv. You could do a lot worse than a stovepipe of this one.

Appearance: Hazy body, large dense white head, spotty lacing.
Aroma: Tropical fruit, citrus, stone fruit.
Taste: Moderately sweet, fruity, plenty of citrus, maltiness arrives late.
Mouthfeel: Medium-to-full bodied, good carbonation, subtle bitterness.
Overall: A nice zing keeps it lively and refreshing.
