As the hop growing season flourishes, farmers dust off their pruning shears. Trimming back those extra shoots helps bolster the bines for a rich harvest. A mouthful of silky Simcoe hops and juicy mango, this new once-a-year release is a nod to those rituals, without which the world would be a less hoppy place.

Really nice featuring mango but doesn’t go overboard. A bit spritzy-boozy but enjoyable.

Not exactly my favorite brew from one of my favorite Pennsylvania brewers. Slight mango taste (more on the nose), absolutely zero head retention, and it looks like a cider.

A - Medium gold hue with a thin, dense lacing ring and mild carbonation.
S - Grapefruit, passion fruit, and mango.
T - Mango is center stage, especially up front followed with passion fruit, some sweet grapefruit, berry, and ends with the right amount of citrus bitterness to balance things out. Left is a pleasing residue of fruity sweetness and bitterness.
M - Medium body with gentle carbonation.
O - Solid middle of the road and I'm totally down with this.

6/8/24 Porch sitting with a poured 16 oz.
Beautiful golden in color with a slight haze.
Candy-sweet in aroma and picking up fresh squeezed orange juice and mangos, of course!
Quite sweet, very mango-y, slightly piney aftertaste. Refreshing, yet heavy.

Having this one on tap.
Taste is good, citrus, pine, floral hops.
The body is a little weak though, the head dissipated quickly, very little lacing.
This one could sneak up on you quickly at 8.5%

Decent stuff from a great outfit. Mango flavor is so so for me. Worth trying to see how it works for you. Mouthfeel is medium. Slight bitterness on the finish.

16oz can into a pint glass. Best by 8/16/24.
Splendid looking beer. Bright golden yellow body, strong white head, sheets of lacing. Aroma of non citrus fruit. On tasting, an initial sweet mango/peach flavor moves on to a drying mild bitterness. Mouth closer to full than medium, finish a progression into drying bitterness.
Overall, nice beer, abv shows up late with some warming.

Purchased at Pennridge Beverage, Perkasie, PA. 4pk/16oz cans
Poured into a standard pint glass. Pours a mostly translucent, golden yellow color. An aggressive two-finger, tight bubble, light cream colored head on the initial pour. The head last a good time. Nice sticky lacing left on the side of the glass
Aromas of sweet mango/peach. Smells really good.
A really good IPA. Flavors of tropical fruits, peach, mango and semi-bitter hops. The flavors blend together perfectly to make a delicious brew. The ABV is 8.5% but this is very easy drinking and the alcohol isn’t prominent.
Medium consistency with medium, fine bubble carbonation.
Overall, this is a great IPA. Troegs puts out some really good brews and this is a hit…Cheers!
