Brewed in collaboration with Antifragile, Warwick Farm and Sworn brewing companies, we’re celebrating at the 50-yard line with this Double IPA. Storm the Field leans into juicier, modern West Coast-style flavors atop the pilsner and Vienna malt bill. Azacca, Nectaron and Citra hops build notes of nectarine, peach and a touch of pine. Crisp but not intensely bitter, WE ARE … pouring this at the inaugural Hoppy Valley Brewers Fest.

All sixteen ounces from a pint can were emptied into a clear glass liter mug. The brew is lightly golden-amber, on the bright side. Although it's just slightly cloudy, it's also rather translucent for a modern double IPA. A delightful just-off-white head resulted from the pour. It's not very aromatic, with only vague notes of malt and hops. The taste is certainly West Coast style and other than a little too much presence of alcohol, close to expectations. There's enough malt to provide a decent body, without much influence on the flavor. This isn't overly sweet, rather dry and piney. The finish gets a little resinous, yet stays clean. Overall, it's a good example of what a Double West Coast IPA should be.

Poured into narrow pint glass: color is straw, slight chill haze but clear, head is frothy mixed bubble head of at least one inch, some lacing on glass as head dissipates to thick ring.
Smell is subdued - light malt, hops are lighter with lemon, peach, nectarine.
Taste is light malt, some biscuit, hops are more tropical and floral with a herbal zing; no real booziness.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, low/moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness but thin and maybe a light boozy burn.
Overall thoughts - a mixed style brew labeled as WCDIPA - presents more as west coast in appearance but NEIPA in aroma/flavor/feel.

16oz can into a pint glass. Best by 8/29/24.
Nice looking beer. Pale glassy yellow body, small white head that still leaves a latticework of lacing. The aroma is lightly of non citrus fruit. On tasting, hoppy, fruity, slightly sweet, mild bitterness. Mouth between medium and full, finish a little bitey.
Overall, very enjoyable drink. Could use a bit more of a piney bite to be a true west coaster. Of note is that the abv is well nigh invisible. Goes down way quicker than it should. Nice collaboration.

Total misfire. This boozy extra pale ale is masquerading as a WCDIPA. What is amazing is 4 breweries collaborated on this. The hops are quite muted, there is no resin, there is no bittering, there is no hint of anything resembling a true WC IPA let alone a double. I won't even get into the flavors profile as I think this is quite a fail. The booze is off-putting as well. Considering offering the other 3 to my drain

A - Medium gold color with perfect clarity and dense white foam with moderate carbonation.
S - Light moderate peach, nectarine, citrus, and passionfruit aroma.
T - Peach, passionfruit, very light citrus and nectarine, light tropical fruit, and ends with some piney bitterness.
M - Big body with vibrant prickly carbonation poking the tongue, semi-dry finish, and warming in the back of the throat from the alcohol.
O - Appearance is definitely West Coast but the aroma and taste is definitely not what you would expect from a traditional West Coast style.
