A combination of Munich and Pilsner malts as well as a touch of de-husked roasted barley. Notes of toasted bread, coffee, and a hint of cocoa.

16 oz can, dated Fresh by 5/18/26
Pours a clear medium brown color, with tan colored head. Bready toasted malt aroma. Similar taste, starts a little sweet but balanced finish. Medium bodied.
Would not call it a schwarzbier, more like a dunkel

Pours dark brown with two fingers of foamy tan head. Good retention and clumpy, soap bubble lacing.
Cocoa, roasted malts and carbon dioxide in the nose.
A hint of stone fruit is added to the mix in the taste. Roasted malts and light bitterness linger in the aftertaste.
Medium bodied, lightly creamy, with strong, tight carbonation.
A very quaffable, easy drinking, well balanced beer. The carbonation is a tad high to my preference, but would gladly drink again.

On tap at the brewery earlier this lunchtime.
Black body with reddish highlights. Small off white head, a few streaks of lacing. Aroma is clean, malty, a touch earthy. On tasting, follows the nose with some bitterness and roast late in the finish.
Overall, decent drink, muted, would be happy to have again.
