From info on the can and online. . . . For the Craft Brewers Conference in Philadelphia. Scratch #550 IPA is a collaboration with Haas Hops and features PRYSMA, a 100% Mosaic hop-derived extract. Added during the whirlpool and after fermentation, PRYSMA delivers expressive flavors and aromas of citrus, sweet fruit, and mixed berry with no unwanted bitterness.

Had this on 2026-05-08 near Pittsburgh, PA from a 16oz can with best by 2026-07-31
L - Clear gold with a 2-finger white head and nice lace
S - French bread, berry, mild citrus
T - Bread crust, light lemon, white mulberry, mild-moderate herbal bitterness moderated by the berry sweetness.
F - Light-medium body and medium carbonation. Pretty clean and refreshing.
O - Definitely not a West Coast IPA. It has the milder bitterness and some of the sweetness of a hazy IPA. Drinks more like a sweetish pale ale than an IPA even though it is 7.2%. Something different like this is always appreciated.
