This medium-bodied, straw-colored kettle sour boasts vibrant flavors of tangerine, orange, and melon; candied fruit sweetness, and a punch of puckering tartness that lingers long after the beer’s dry finish.

Initially, I wasn't sure what style this was supposed to be, but knowing now that it is supposed to be a Berliner Weiss helps. Now I can say it is one of the bolder ones, with sour tastes up front.
It pours pale and deep yellow with nice fizz that continues. The aroma is weak but fairly typically yeasty. The taste is dominated by sour, but perhaps somewhat balanced and moderated by malts and hops. It works, but it is a bigger pucker up than many of the style.
Recommended.

A: The beer is relatively clear straw yellow in color and has a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a patch of bubbles on the surface, a collar around the edge, and some specks of bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of sourness are present in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste is quite sour and has notes of lemons and orange flavors. The sourness lingers into the finish.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and provides a nice dose of sourness that will pucker up your mouth to some degree.

DuClaw Brewing Co. "Sour Me This"
12 fl. oz. brown glass bottle, "PKG052317" and sampled on 082317
$2.17 @ Giant Eagle, Indiana, PA
Look: A slightly hazy yellow gold body rests gently beneath a short head of bright white that fades almost immediately. Limited, spotty lacing - but that's to be expected of a sour beer.
Smell: Clean. Tartish with light notes of citrus (lemon, grapefruit, tangerine) and other tropical fruits (mango, guava, papaya).
Taste: Also clean. Tart but not too sour, and sweetish but not sweet. Fruity with candied citrus, some tropical fruit, and some light berries. Limited bitterness but dry, acidic finish. Nicely balanced.
Feel: Light-medium in body and gently zesty.
Overall: Interesting, refreshing, and perfectly balanced for middle of the road tartness and drinkability.

12oz bottle poured into glass,.
Look: pale yellow, with thin white head.
Smell: citrus, sour apples, with a hint of pine.
Taste: sour, sour and more sour. Reminds me of sour granny smith apple, with malt taste at the end.
Feel: like a regular beer. Nothing too strong or too weak.
Overall: solid beer, would recommend.
