12 ounce can poured into a Tulip.
Canned 12/17/19
It pours dark brown and clear but blacks out the glass. The three finger brown head has good retention but eventually settles down to a thin cap. Good bourbon barrel aroma, coconut, vanilla and mild alcohol round out a robust nose. Tasting rich and malty with spice, roast, caramel and a sweet nutty flavor that is almond-like, the alcohol is well disguised. Sweetness is high but if finishes rather clean and bitter. The medium-full body is smooth and somewhat creamy with lowish carbonation.
A nice dessert sipper though not as good as standard Retribution.
