There is a julian code on the bottom of the can but it's hard for me to figure out what it means. The pour is a light yellow color that is quite similar to lemon. I can smell a faint amount of hops. On the taste, i'm getting a faint amount of hops but that's about it. This is not a very flavorful lager, it's sort of bland & forgettable. Cheers! B-

Nothing special. Decent beer. Wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Honor Brewing Company "Line of Sight Lager"
16 fl. oz. can, coded "HON-LG 001" which means absolutely nothing as far as freshness goes.
$3.99 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ

Notes via stream of consciousness: Pricey stuff, and they can't even put a freshness date on it? Oh well. It's poured a crystal clear light golden body beneath a short head of bright white that's faded fairly quickly. The aroma is medium-bright and clean with some straightforward grainy golden malt and herbal and floral hops. The flavor follows with a little bit of honeyish character to the malt, and maybe an additional note of soft lemon in there. It's basic but it's good, nicely balanced, and backed by a solid bitterness that brings it to a dry conclusion. It lingers, bitter, herbal, and leafy but with some grainy malt there as well. I've had Euro lagers that haven't been nearly as nicely balanced. There is however an unusual note that I can''t quite place. I think it's coming from the hops and not process but I'm not sure. Most people wouldn't even notice it though. It's fairly malty, and medium bodied with a dextrinous character that's balanced by a fairly crisp carbonation. Looking back, although the head dropped fairly quickly at first it still left some decent lacing behind. Overall I'd recommend it as a quality, basic, golden/malty lager except for the price and the lack of freshness dating. The price, however, may have something to do with donations that they're making to veteran's groups - or maybe not, I don't know.

From a large can.
Clear pale golden body with a good white head.
Mild, malt dominated aroma.
More hop forward flavor. Mild but not for style.
Light body with medium carbonation.
