We opted for a light lager brewed with grapefruit and passionfruit to create this refreshing, very low (4.5%) ABV offering. Slightly sweet and slightly tart with a crisp dry finish, this beer is a perfect starting point for any holdouts who have been waiting for the right beverage to get them into craft beer.

Clear, golden color. Medium-sized, white head. Bread, lemon, and a hint of grapefruit in the aroma. Moderate sweetness in taste. Decent summer thirst quencher.

12 FL. OZ. can
Served in a Cleveland Browns nonic glass
This beer pours a brilliant golden color. It is topped with a couple inches of fluffy, eggshell colored head that leaves decent lacing.
It has a refreshing grapefruit aroma. It reminds me of a quality soda like Squirt.
The flavor is exactly as expected, grapefruit soda and beer. It starts out like a grapefruit soda. Then the beer flavor kicks in. The finish is clean.
Thin bodied with a watery mouthfeel
It is a chuggable summer beer. Hell, I'm chugging it on a wintry, fall evening.

See through golden brew with a decent white head. Decent looking radler. I like the strait up grapefruit nose on this beer. Sweet but just slightly tart, what some call dry I’d call watery. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing offensive with the flavor but it almost starts with a wine cooler flavor without the high carbonation but then ends mainly sweet and faintly bready with an ever so faint tang to it.

120z can into a pint glass last night. Best by 10/29/19, so I'm thinking it's plenty fresh.
Nice golden yellow body with decent carbonation. small white head dissipates to a ring and covering, leaving only a little lacing initially.
Malty, faintly floral and hay aroma. There is no grapefruit smell.
...and upon tasting, there is zero grapefruit flavor. There is a lightly sour bitterness which I take to be from the passion fruit. It has a solid malt background, but if you are going to call a beer a grapefruit radler and have a best by date of 10/29/19, there had better be some grapefruit!
Mouth is a solid medium. finish is malty with a very light sour bitterness.
Overall, I like grapefruit, so this beer was a major letdown. Doesn't have much going for it, and I doubt you can really call it a fruit & field beer. Have always supported Flying Dog, and would try anything they put out, but I'm getting a little tired of this long line of lightweight offerings.

Look: Pale yellow/amber with a big, foamy white head that gradually recedes to a thin line.
Smell: Grapefruit, orange. Hints of strawberry, cherry, lime, and salt. A bit of a cherry Kool-Aid aroma. Very light and fruity.
Taste: Grapefruit, orange. Hints of cherry. Some light herbal/plant flavors. Nice malt sweetness. Mild.
Feel: Thin-bodied and crisp.
Overall: Tasty, refreshing, and drinkable. Don't expect any overpowering flavors -- this is a balanced, mild beer with just enough complexity to be interesting.

12oz can into a willi-style pint.
A: Aggressive pour yields a clear, dull-ish straw hue with 1 3/4" loose white head that recedes somewhat quickly. Retention and lacing are both slightly better than expected.
S: Not very beery. Sweet orange pulp and grapefruit with a sugary note. Not much on the nose to distinguish this from a juice or cocktail.
T: Opens bright and off-sweet with a slightly doughy malt note underneath. The mid palate is more distinctly fruit-sweet with a good balance between sweet, tart and a little malt. Lots of citrus and acidity lead into the finish which is dry and mild with lingering grapefruit. Actually pretty refreshing, manages not to be a sugar bomb and even develops some complexity as it goes.
M: Extremely light and crisp with surprisingly mild carb. Fairly appropriate for the style, but I think a bit more density would help to better articulate this flavor profile.
O: Surprisingly thoughtful in the way that it avoids the one-dimensionality that can occasionally plague other Radlers. Citrus fruitiness is front and center without being overpowering. The malt character really does elevate this brew on the palate, even though it's a non-factor for the beer's "feel".

Pours clear deep yellow. Not much head or lacing, but you can coax it out if you're rough. A rind smell on the nose--Perhaps thats passionfruit?--followed by faint grapefruit. Reminds me of peeling fruit.
Tastes watery and extremely light bodied. The flavor is... good. I don't feel inclined to chug it, it would be a good beer to be productive with. I'd take it over a Bud Light. Instead of the beer taste you get grapefruit and passionfruit.
Sure, why not?

Golden hued with a light haziness and vibrant carbonation bubble. There's a fingernail of off white around a little over half of the rim and covering three quarters of the top. The aroma is of grapefruit, passion fruit, and just a suggestion of grassy German bittering hops. I'm tasting passion fruit, grapefruit, and a bit of lemon lime at the back of the palate. The mouth is moderately carbonated, crisp, and refreshing.
