12 ounce bottle, didn't notice a date on the bottle or label but I think I've had this one a little while. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a pilsner style glass, the beer pours a mostly clear gold color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells mostly like bready malt, along with some herbal hops and honey. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some floralness noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and a bit slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. Thought this was an OK overall brew, would like to try this one fresher at some point!

Clear, golden color. Big, white head. Malt, hay, and herbal hops in the aroma. Sweet, malty taste with decent, hoppy bitterness at the end. Solid, strong pilsner.

From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter. This imperial pils pours a clear
golden with a modest head of white foam that settles to a thin ring with
subtle lacing. Nose of herbal hops, honey sweet malt, and astringent booze
with a touch of breaded malts. Flavors are an improvement with breaderd
malts, medium strong herbal hops, caramel and honey sweet malts, and
grain notes amongst astringent booze. Mouth feel is medium leaning towards
medium light with light carbonation and a warming lightly sweet and herbal
finish.
Overall, a pils in the realm of Lithuania IE Effin and Fuggin.
Cheers

Clear gold appearance started with a large off white head and modest lacing. Malts on the sweet side in the aroma; a little spicier if you stick your nose further in the glass. Moderately bitter, floral hop flavor. Still some sweetness. Drier than normal aftertaste. Well carbonated, medium-to-full bodied mouthfeel. Not feeling (yet) the higher abv.

12 oz. bottle. This is a bit different. Some sweetness and hop bite, with a fuel-like alcohol burn in the finish. The mouthfeel seems a bit thin but probably within the style parameters. Enjoyable and a style I should explore some more.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Best before 4/17/23.
Looks very good. Crystal clear pale golden yellow body. Small bright white head shrinks to a fat ring and covering, and leaves a splendid latticework of lacing.
Sweet and boozy aroma.
On tasting, sweet and floral, significant alcohol presence. For all that, it also feels a little light. Weird.
Mouth above medium, finish boozy and a little drying.
Overall, the booziness is a bit much, eventually swallowing up the sweet and floral notes. The light feel is interesting. In the end, not a bad drink, just a little odd.

(12 oz bottle, enjoy by 04.17.23; purchased single off shelf... poured into my fat Trillium tulip)
L: brilliantly-clear, plae gold liquid; half-tight, yellow-white, crystalline foam stand to the lip... the etching in this glass helps a thin cap keep around; little lacing
S: fantastic, shortbready, creamy, Czech(?)-hopped pilsner; bready and rippingly herbal-hoppy, alcohol well-hidden, but its strength may be adding an enhanced boozy sweetness in the near background
T: the alcohol is more apparent on the palate and certainly in its finish, which has a brief flash of malt liquor magic... the aftertaste a 'sandie' cookie character with only a faint, elegant floral, leafy hop note, with a more fruity accent to it when I did burp... gets increasingly floral as it goes, with an even lime zest color to it... I feel like the booze may have a negative effect on the expression of the hops; I could be mistaken
F: for its potency, quite little heat; its warmth is more sedate, marginally prickly with the hopping, tickling the back of my nose
O: I could easily have a few of these; just enough of the goods to make it moreish... not fancy, not pricey, just nicey (2070)

Best by: 4/4/22
It looks the part of a Pilsner, super clear pale yellow with a steady stream of bubbles rising to maintain a rocky white two inch head but the nose has more yeast and fruity ester aromas than you would expect. The taste is malty/grainy and opens with sweet esters before quickly becoming dry and assertively bitter. Alcohol is immediately noticeable but not too harsh. Carbonation is high adding a crisp bite to the light body. OK for a change but I prefer a non-Imperial Pilsner.

12oz bottle EB date 02/02/2022 into a pilsner glass.
L: Pours a vibrant clear straw yellow with a 1.5 inch sudsy white head with a lightly creamy center. Well carbonated. Head goes down to carbonated edge foam & light skin. Some sticky lacing.
S: Clean light earthy hops, grains, lightly floral, white bread, some alcohol as the beer warms.
T: Lightly sweet, rich then bitter. Bitterness lingers. Grainy with light yeast. It is full-flavored and hops are earthy and soapy. Some alcohol is detected.
F: Crisp, slippery med-light bodied mouthfeel with a med-long semi-dry clean finish. The carbonation keeps it crisp. It stays on the tongue for a while then disappears.
O: An interesting and strong American Imperial Pilsner that is full-flavored and packs a punch with it's higher ABV. It will ease you through a family gathering for sure. It is sweet but not cloying, crisp and it is very good in it's style.

12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass. Enjoy by 4/4/22, so plenty fresh.
L---Crystal clear, remarkably so, light gold color. Medium white head faded down to a cap and left good lacing.
S---Grainy with light lemon. Vaguely sweet.
T---Grains. Oddly, the hops seem sweet. Not off-putting, but not usual, either.
F---Medium body with good carbonation. It lacks the crispness I'm used to in a pilsner.
O---I've never had or heard of an Imperial Pilsner before today. So, no real info to compare. It seemed ok, but not a typical pilsner.

Two 12 oz. bottles are poured into a clear glass liter mug. Its color is a bright light amber and it smells just like a freshly poured pilsner should, malty, yeasty and a little hoppy in a sharp and clean manner. Glass lacing is as least as good as your average Pilsner. The head is moderate, but enduring. It drinks just above what you would anticipate from an Imperial Pilsner. Moderate in its delivery of malt, hops and yeast, this is very pleasantly balanced. It brings a nice hint of nutty sweetness, like a good Kolsch. Obviously, it's not moderate with its inclusion of alcohol, but it is an Imperial Pilsner. Also, it goes down smoother than could be expected for a high octane pilsner.
