Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is mild, malts, grains. Taste is of grains, lemons, light malts. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall it's not bad, but I can't say that it is much better than many pale lagers that are considerably cheaper.

Light yellow gold color with good white cap and lasting lacing.
Aroma of clean malty grain and floral, spicy hops.
Taste is a good combination of malt, grain and hops all at once. I did notice the malt/grain was upfront and the hops building most after mid palate but hops were definitely in the parade from the start. Flavors of grain and hops complement each other well and stay in balance to the finish. It's a delightfully balanced brew.
Medium full texture with balancing carbonation.
According to the brewer their is some flaked maize in the grain bill which puts this in the AAL category. That's not to say it's in bad company, far from it, at 20 IBU coming from Noble Hops this one harks back to the days when American Lagers were more fully flavored and more highly hopped than in recent years. A pre-prohibition Lager if you will.
