Pineapple Mango Imperial Sour. Mango and pineapple puree combine in this potent concoction that balances fruity sweetness and tartness. Tread lightly, the Imperial Sour within is brewed with the darkest of arts. From the deepest part of the jungle comes a potent concoction used by shamans during arcane tribal ceremonies. Except we couldn't get our hands on spider venom or poison arrow frog saliva, so we switched in pineapple and mango. I guess you can't get everything on the Internet after all.

Good Kettle Sour, very drinkable. Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Stone Imperial Russian Stout tulip glass. Features a beautiful clear copper color and a fizzy white head that dissipates fast. No lacing to speak of. Aroma and taste feature pineapple and mango. Lactose is the other recognizable flavor. Sourness is at a minimum. Mouthfeel is rich and smooth (lactose). The fruit flavors are allowed to shine with only a small amount of sourness. Fairly simple, the last few Kettle Sours I have had were from Oozlefinch where everything but the kitchen sink were thrown into the flavor mix. This isavery drinkable beer. I enjoyed it.

Fantastic, perfect mix of flavors; pineapple and mango!! Slighly sour, highly drinkable so that the 10% is hidden to the point it's crushable, not advisable though!

Pours a clear brassy golden color. A modest head quickly dissipates.

The nose evokes bright notes of tart fruit as well as sweet notes of bready malts, vanilla and possibly lactose. Aromas of grapefruit, lime, orange, kiwi, and pear. Vinous aromas evoke notes of green grape and oak.

Moderately sour with a very dry finish. Dominated by tart fruit as well as oaky and vinous flavors. Fruity notes of green and white grape, lime, lemon, kiwi, green apple and white grapefruit. Notes of bready malts and sourdough provide a strong base. Notes of vanilla, possibly milk sugar and mildly sweet and peppery alcohol spice. To its credit, despite the high ABV, this is not at all boozy.

Medium to full bodied, yet easy to drink. The mouthfeel is vinous and moderately acidic. The carbonation is moderate.

I was pleasantly surprised by this considering the other Imperial Sours I’ve had didn’t do it for me as much. It drinks a bit like a white wine as well as the refreshing qualities sour beer brings along with it. I would have again.

12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass. Enjoy by 8/18/21.

L---Slightly hazed, light amber color. White head faded quickly to a rim and left no lacing.

S---Advertised pineapple and mango. Light orange.

T---Both sweet from the fruitiness and also sour. A nice balance.

F---Medium, but quite drinkable for 8.7%.

O---A really nice one.

(12 oz bottle, enjoy by 11.11.21; purchased cold six-pack... poured into a fat tulip)

L: hazed, amber liquid, with sunny yellow highlights; white, tight foam on the pour, sliding away into a silky collar in short time... slippy lace nibs; basic visual appeal

S: more of a tropical cocktail/liqueur and than a beer, and a touch of hogo... mango yogurt, baked (or canned) pineapple highlights... little overt boozy scents; muted intensity

T: the mango seems to present first, while the dry pineapple juice swoops in behind it, bringing along a biting tartness around the edges... fair measure of doughy malt adding some contrast and length to the fruit nectar showcase... dry underbelly and edgy tartness standing out in the aftertaste; alcohol pulses, but magnificently muffled

F: nectary approach, but lacks a palpable round edge/contour, fading away quietly within a sedate warmth... sluggishly moreish, marginally satisfying

O: third bottle from the pack over the last 3 days and it makes a major difference letting this live in the cellar-temp zone, as the fruits really wake up; expression at its best clarity... not particularly complex, but it's bold, refreshingly tart, and it works surprisingly swift or slowly sippable... begs to be infused with sweet rum (Zaya?, Diplomatico?); not bad!
