I realize that I CAN come off sounding like a broCAN record, but one of my principal sources for single CANs when visiting PHL is Monde Market on 23rd Street, just off of Chestnut. Sure, I also hit the various Fooderys, but they CAN be spendy, where Monde Market seems reasonable, plus they have always been very receptive to any and all of my goofy requests. I CANcourage you to stop by if/when you are in the area.
From the CAN: "The Place Where We Drink"; "Moneyman IPA has been hopbursted and dry hopped with Citra and Amarillo for maximum aroma intensity. Its tropical flavor flaunts hints of lemon, orange and grapefruit while the oats deliver a velvety mouthfeel. In certain situations, Moneyman IPA is even considered legal tender."
The Crack! was loud and picture-perfect, so I decided to employ a gentle Glug since that seems to be working for me lately. An in-glass swirl raised a brief finger of dense, foamy, tawny head that just seemed to want to lay back down & go back to sleep. Cool by me. Nose was dank, really rich in its fruitiness & my hophead mouth set to instantly watering. Color was a slightly hazy Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9), but I suspect that it may clarify over the course of the review. I keep my reefer pretty cold due to also storing food & this CAN result in a chill haze. Mouthfeel was medium, but it was not "velvety" by any stretch. It had a prickly quality due to its intense carbonation, which I actually prefer in an AIPA because it scrubs open my taste buds and allows the hop oils to really sink in. The taste was very fruity, more citrus than tropical, especially with grapefruit and orange at the forefront. It was on the dry finish that I caught flavors of mango, papaya and guava, but only briefly as the citrus flavors returned. It was a pleasant drink, but I wish that the mouthfeel had lived up to its billing. The other thing that weighs on my mind is the ABV, leading me to question where an AIPA ends & a DIPA picks up. My mind is a terrible thing! Sorry, I almost forgot to mention that as it warmed to room temperature, the clarity increased.

A thanks goes out to the creator of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of resin, citrus. Taste is resin, pine, citrus, a good bit of bitternes. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is somewhat unbalanced, but still a good beer.

Poured from can into glass; Amber-orange color with one finger head and some lacings. Citrus and hops are distinct. Dank flavor on the palate as hops stays with you throughout! There is a velvet feel in the mouth as hops take over.

Poured from the can into an IPA glass. The smell was very dank, and citrusy. Poured a light hazey amber-orange, with a decent head lacing stuck around till the end. The taste again, was very dank. If you like strong, hoppy citrusy beers this ones for you. Had a velvety mouthfeel due to the oatmeal and finished smooth with a punch of hops at the very end. Love this beer, love this brewery. My favorite IPA in a can.

Drank straight from the can. Aroma was a pleasant but not overpowering hoppy floral, resin, citrus smell that did get me excited to taste. Look: couldn't say, I drank from the can. Taste: very good, easy drinking, hop forward flavor with an almost creamy stout like finish but then comes the bitterness that lingers! Mouthfeel is almost stout like which is unique for an IPA. Overall I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable this was. My 1st Manayunk beer so I must try more!

16 oz can, poured a little for appearance, and aroma, but drinking the remainder from the can, a-la heady.
A- a bright orange/goldenrod, with a fluffy white head. VERY nice lacing.
S- Very forward on the Citra hops, but has a pretty sharp pine note with some earthy/hemp tones. A touch of garlic/onion tones.
T- In a glass, it's very citra forward, with a pretty big bitter blast on the backend. The bitterness is accompanied by pine and by a touch of the garlicky note from the Columbus hops. Drinking it from the can, the pine and garlic notes come out a bit more as the bitterness is tamped down a bit.
M- soft, but not nearly as much as I thought it would be with the amount of oatmeal they use.
O- it's very good, but I think the aggressive bitterness on the backend washes out a lot of the complexity in the brew.
