Poured from a 12 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed golden pour with thick foamy white head. Great lacing.
S: Grains/wheat and citrus. A bit of yeast.
T/F: Follows the nose. Lightly toasted malts and wheat... grassy... lemon citrus and orange rind. A bit of spice from the coriander. Light bodied and well carbonated.
O: A tasty Witbier... on point for the style and super drinkable. Great for a summer day or a light session. A hard style to make exciting, but well executed.

DATE: July 4, 2018... OCCASION: ready for the celebration to begin--and the rain to let up... GLASSWARE: Erdinger
Weissbrau limited edition FIFA weizen... pours a cloudy, flimy grapefruit haze, with slow-streaming bubbles floating
lazily upward--does not appear unfiltered, for what it's worth... the head is frothy, creamy, and a quarter-finger in height... clove, pepper, big banana, some spiciness, and a clip of yeastiness entices despite/because of its predictable aroma... its first sip is sharp, tart, yet light and swift in its finish... the mouthfeel is generally agreeable and refreshing, yet it also has a bit of malty oat that makes the experience less fresh... tough to knock a beer that hits its intention, yet without an outstanding feature, it remains a serviceable summer ale with intriguing, if somewhat misleading, artwork...

Orange gold cloudy color. Body is a little thin with just above average carbonation which balances out to a decent feel. Aroma is coriander, yeast and malt with some citrus peel. Taste is very similar, mildly sweet with a heavy grain element. Not bad, a little weak but is still a decent light easy to get down beer

Sweet aroma with hints of honey, orange, and coriander. Pours a slightly hazy straw with a thin dusting of white foam. Light bodied, the coriander pairs with a touch of sweet notes from the wheat, with the orange coming in to the finish. There are some earthy hop notes in here as well. While not the best winter beer, I can see this being very popular in summer.
