Appearance is brownish rustic copper with a finger of head. The head retained well along the edge of the glass. The nose is hoppy, but I did not detect any rye notes. The taste had some limited hints of rye spiciness, but the hops really drive the flavor of this offering. The hops are fairly pronounced for a single IPA (or "rye" PA, if you will).

On tap at Capone's...
A - A medium bronzed color with a mild haze to it... Modest carbonation throughout... A slightly creamy off-white head lingers atop but doesn't stick around for too long...
S - A definant attention grabber... Earthy... Piney Hops... A very hop forward scent profile... A mild spicy rye kick... Cracker and bready malts...
T - A surprisingly pungent earthy hop character dominates the palette... The mild rye spiciness takes a distant back seat to the hop... Also present are some bready malts and a faint grainy component...
M - Medium bodied... Distinctive... Resiny... Mild carbonation... Pungent... A hop attack on the tongue that really doesn't let up until you finish the glass...
D - A little bit too much of a hop forward offering for this to be more drinkable... None the less this is one is still quite tasty... A nice offering from Manayunk brewing...
