On tap at Boat House Conshohocken. Presents a hazy pale orange color with half finger of white head that dades quickly yet leaves a hearty cap of lace behind. Not any bubbles in the beer to speak of. Smell is dominated by spicy, Belgian yeast aromas. Citrus, pepper corn, hay. Flavor is very dry, grassy hops, subtle whole grain bread, lingering bitterness. All balanced by that fruity, spicy yeast character. Very nice beer.
Not at all what I was expecting when I ordered... Nothin at all like de Koninck. A pleasant surprise.
