A deep golden and slightly hazy (it's only partially filtered) body is topped by a frothy bright-white head. It's retention is somewhat limited, but it drops to a decent collar and leaves some temporal, minor, spotty lace. The nose expresses a bit of clove (and even a hint of banana) amongst some other light phenolics, a sizeable amount of spicy/ethanol alcohol, and a grape-like fruitiness. It's medium bodied but appears lighter due to its crisp carbonation. The flavor is surprisingly rich once it warms a bit with a sugary maltiness that displays rich tropical fruits lightly sprinkled with spice. The alcohol is present, but not overly distracting; and the bitterness is well-balanced. It finishes with a flourish of spice and warming alcohol followed by some sweet malt before drying in a long lasting and memorable finish. Quite a wild ride!!! Worth trying.

Pours a hazy, yellow, straw like. Slight aroma of Belgian Candy Sugar. That's it, no head or lace. Very little Banana Clove taste, thin mouthfeel, 25 IBU"s finish. Not impressed, average beer, barely to style.
