I had this beer on-tap in a shaker pint at the brewery in Cabo San Lucas.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a dash of haze and a finger of ivory foam atop. Not super “hazy”, as they call it, but for a session IPA that seems okay with me.
Smell: mildly sweet malt with a kind of orange peel hop character going on. Light, but not bad.
Taste: light, kinda crackery malt, with the same dried orange peel character as the aroma. Not complex but decent.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a light carbonation and an okay texture. I would have loved a bit more carbonation, or even just a little more body. Just something to fill it out a bit, you know?
Overall: not complex, but very drinkable as a 4.7% session IPA. Definitely a nice quaff in the Baja sun.
