Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a hazy orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of tropical fruits. Taste is tropical fruits, citrus, a touch of alcohol and dankness, moderate bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

16oz can. Pours a slightly hazy bright burnt orange with over an inch of frothy head and some sediment floating around. The aroma is mango, papaya, pear, tangerine and some herbal hops. The taste has a bit more of earthy and dank hops than expected. The tropical fruits are still there as well as the tangerine and pear. Herbal hop finish with a citrus peel bitter bite. Oily mouthfeel with a soft body and lots of carbonation. Moderate alcohol presence.

A: cloudy; deep gold in color; 1 finger ivory head that receded to a splotchy cap; nice lacing;
S: musty and banana with a hint of tropical fruit in the background;
T: musty banana with a bit of caramel; a touch of tropical fruit at the end; mild bitterness on the finish;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: I got this from the brewery, so it wasn't mishandled; I can't imagine this is what they were shooting for;

Poured from a pint can into an IPA style glass. Off white head, two fingers deep, with good lacing. The body of the beer is apricot in color, opaque. Aroma is deliciously citrusy, enticing. The first sip follows up with fruity citrus tang and a hoppy finis to cleanse the palate. The combination of El Dorado, Calypso and Citra hops delivers great taste that allows the 8% abv to stay well below the flavor surface. Hooker hit it out of the park with this DIPA!

Tried this at Eli Cannon's in Middletown, CT. Came in a tulip glass with about a quarter inch of head leaving clumps of semi thick lacing. Has a hazy golden color. Fruity notes on the nose. The taste is orange peel forward with some resin behind that. Nice beer.

16 oz Can, 15 Days fresh
A: Pours a hazed/thick golden color. Two fingers of thick off white head. Above average retention with good amounts of sticky lacing.
S: Some sweet fruits. Pear and mango like aromas. Sugar. Has an overall weak smell.
T/M: Earthy. Sticky. Light lime and citrus. Stronger stone fruits such as mango. Crisp with plenty of carbonation. A hint of alcohol comes through, its hidden well at 8%. Bitterness is strong. Has a funky tea/herbal taste, which lingers into the finish.
O: Interesting brew. Not sure about the blend of hop varieties. Still enjoyable though.
Cheers!
