Poured from a pint can into a pint glass. One finger head, no lacing, over a golden yellow body with high clarity. Minimal aroma, just some sweetness from the corn. The first sip is all classic adjunct lager, smooth, slight sweetness, easy to throw back. This is a ballpark beer - Chivos refers to Goat, as in the Hartford Yard Goats minor league team that plays at Dunkin Donuts stadium in downtown Hartford. I would classify this as a Mexican style Lager, but that's not on the official list, although I think it's starting to catch on in popularity. .Definitely a fine beer while watching a game.
