I had this beer on-tap in a straight-sided glass at the brewery in London.
Appearance: dark brown hue with a bit of haze and a finger of frothy tan foam atop.
Smell: a good blend of malt, roast, yeast, caramel, and sweetness. Very balanced; I like it.
Taste: a bit drier than the aroma; the roast takes more of a front seat here. But it remains balanced and drinkable; a solid schwarzbier.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: like I said: a pretty solid schwarzbier. Not too sweet, not too astringent.
