Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Not a looker. It's more red than brown and full of sediment chunks in suspension. Pours with a 1mm pale tan cap.
S- Smells of a red fruit, likely cherry.
T- Oh heavens, very cherry. Almost slightly sour cherry, then with a dry finish. There is a light roasty aspect well in the background.
F- Certainly a Fruit/Field beer as fruit is front+central.
O- Not for me, it's heavily cherry dominated, and frankly doesn't taste like a beer to me at all. I wouldn't be that surprised to find this style in a Belgian Lambic beer, but most surprising to find it brewed by this high quality Japanese operation...
Review2007/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the lables to see what I missed! 'Brewed with cacao, berry + cherry'. Contains raspberry, cherry, cacao nibs and vanilla etc.'
330ml bottle BB: 05/22 £4.99 Bought from TremblingMadness, York/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

A delicious ale brewed for Valentine's Day with sweetberry puree, raspberry puree, tart cherry puree, cacao nibs, and vanilla beans. The chocolate flavor trails nicely after a very balanced berry taste. Try it!
