Copenhagen 8/4 2021. 33 cl bottle from Ølkassen web-shop. Hoppe.beer’s usual design supplemented with Hopdaddy’s logo. Light and dark blue colors.
Pours unclear murky orange with a big white head. A lot of yeasty goo at the bottom of the glass. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a fruity sweet odor mingling with citric notes. Yeasty touch. Sweet peach. Sour citrus. Light streak of sour cheese and barnyard.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart bitterness. Aftertaste is quite thin. Citric and tart. Lingers shortly. Finish is dry.
Fantastic nose but a little thin in flavor.
