Copenhagen 11/10 2019. 33 cl bottle from Høkeren. Hoppe.Beer's usual graphic design with Fonts going in all directions in light brown, cream and black.
Pours unclear orange with a small white head. Very bubbly. Disappears after 10 seconds leaving nothing behind. No lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense and very much on the sour and citric side. Weaker sweetness in the background. Citrus fruit, unripe berries. Light sugary sweetness which might come from the cactus.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery yet slightly sticky texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour. Lingers for a while. Dry vinous finish.
Not especially Belgian - but a nice sour beer with a little cactus for balance.
