The dark counterpart of Bavarian lagerbier. Step-mashed with a blend of 5 different German malts for maximum complexity, balanced by a touch of Magnum and Mittelfrüh hops. Natural carbonation captured by spunding and lagered for weeks in horizontal tanks. Unwind with caramel ribbon biscotti half-dipped in chocolate and a dusting of select Kona roast

Deep copper pour w/ mahogany inlay; finger-plus of rocky white foam; pronounced spiderweb lacing featuring broken guitar strings and tattered curtains. Aromas of hazelnut, toasted almonds, chocolate, biscotti, rich malt, and subtle coffee notes. Taste follows w/ nuanced caramel flavors, crusty bread, and myriad nuttiness. Feel is wonderfully clean, and finishes w/ a muted level of astringency. Extremely well done.
