Amber-copper pour. Modest off-white head that leaves a bit of lacing on the glass. Reputed to be the world's first pumpkin ale and it plays like the signature ale of its kind. Strong pumpkin presence blended with a 4-spice, 6-malt flavor attack. A bit thin-bodied but still a great choice for the spooky side of Autumn.

Poured from a can into a Belgian glass.
Look: Orange like a pale ale. Extremely thin head that faded quickly. Some small lacing and bubbles remain.
Smell: Warm pumkin notes up front. The spice is still there, but I appreciate that the pumkin aroma is a little stronger on this one.
Taste: Dry and a bit bitter. The spice and the pumkin notes are there, but they are being overpowered by that hop bitterness. The finish is long and enjoyable with a lingering pumkin pie note.
Feel: Medium thick mouthful. Works very well for what this beer is going for.
Overall: This is a great option for someone looking for a BEER with pumkin pie notes. This is not your average overly sweet pumkin beer. With that said, it accomplishes exactly what it sets out to do. I don't particularly love it or hate it. It's a solid option.

Pours a hazy golden orange with 1 finger of whitish foam from a 12 ounce can into a tulip glass. Aroma of baked pumpkin pie and vanilla. Flavor notable for fresh pumpkin, and pie spices with restrained vanilla notes. Mouthfeel is tremendous, full and silky. Well done.

Oh man, the last good beer in the fridge. And it is yet another great pumpkin ale (literally).
It pours just ok, reddish. But if you stare at it something happens - it comes alive (not literally). I am trying to get it to smell more. I love the smell but I want more. A dab behind the ear, perhaps (not). The taste is totally down to business. The pumpkin flavor tastes real and not overly spiced and not too strong. It still tastes like a nice imperial ale. You never forget that they called it imperial, so its likely to taste kind of heavy, and it completely feels like the abv it carries - nothing is hidden. I would guess that comes from a really heavy malt (my uneducated guess).
Recommended. Like all the pumpkins I've written up this year this is a winner. A dab behind the ear seemed to work!

Look: Clear amber with a medium white head that has solid retention.
Smell: An inviting scent of sweet pumpkin and allspice with a dash of nutmeg also present.
Taste: Delicious. Follows the nose with spices upfront. Then, it transitions into a sweet pumpkin flavor that finishes a touch on the bitter side.
Feel: Medium in the mouth.
Overall: A fine pumpkin beer indeed. The spice has held up nicely with age, and it’s my second favorite of the variety pack.

I don't like pumpkin ale normally, because it has too many spices and tastes like pumpkin pie. This one has oh so little spice that it is really very good. Bought a bottle for my wife because she likes pumpkin "anything". I tried it and really liked it. May have to buy another bottle. Rated 10-1-2020

Earthy orange appearance, khaki white head, ok retention. Mild pumpkin, brown sugar, spice, malty grain, balanced sweetness. Moderate body and carbonation.
