Clear, bright yellow brew with plenty of foam in the Kasteel chalice. Aroma is fruity, though grapefruit doesn't immediately come to mind. Pleasant sudsy mouthfeel with a little acidic zing. Some malty sweetness as well.
Just slightly bitter aftertaste, and highly gulpable. Overall, a better than average fruit-flavored beer. The Lager style seems to have a more "beery" taste than the usual pale wheat fruit brews. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at the Northwest supermarket.
