Dank Dust oscillates with aromas of lush grapefruit, mango, and orange, backed by an extra herbal kick for added freshness. The sweet hop flavor and low bitterness nods to the classic Space Dust we all know and love, turned up a notch.

Can states ale brewed with natural flavor. Not a fan of this. Clear golden color. White head.

Dank and weedy. Big resin. Floral hops and grapefruit citrus. It’s definitely west coast bomb. Excellent bitterness. I just wish I knew what the artificial flavors were. I find it odd that they need to add something to a west coast ipa. Would rate it higher otherwise.

Dank piney resin, herbal and hoppy taste profile. Very unique and quite delicious. Would not hesitate to add to regular IPA rotation if it was available year round in Texas.

12oz bottle from Albertsons. Bright, clear golden pour, thin, soft white soapy head. Dank aroma, orange peel. Taste starts and ends with musty, dank hops, light notes of citrus and caramel.

Pours golden with little to no head. The smell of dank weed hits as soon as you pop the cap. It's intense. How do they get it to smell like that? I mean it's straight up weed smell every time you raise the glass to take a drink. Tastes like alcoholic bong water with a bad after taste, not great. Seems like more of a novelty. Disappointing considering how good Space Dust is, but the psychedelic play on the Space Dust graphics are cool.

Light gold in color. The nose is dankness, skunk, pine, and a heavy aroma of weed. Taste is a bit different. You get more pine and a little of the weed and skunk, but as the beer warms you start noticing tropical fruits. Very interesting taste. Has a medium mouthfeel and the alcohol is hidden well. This is a very good DIPA and I'll definitely be purchasing more. If you don't like dank IPA's, stay away from this one.

Somewhat of a novelty brew.. but it's decent. Id drink it again for free. There is way better offerings at the same price point for me to spend money on.

Name: Dank Dust
Brewery: Elysian
Location: Seattle, Washington
Style: IPA
ABV: 8.2%
Date: Unknown, only has an experience by, it is worthless.
Dank Dust is next on the review table. I have sampled several of these beers and have an opinion about them. The Label is colorful and psychedelic, although not sure how hops could be high. Anyways that is neither here nor there; we are here to review. A hiss emerges as I pry the bottle cap off. I poured the liquid inside my recently purchased OZ brewing tulip glass. A frothy, creamy white one-fingered head was created with no retention. Watching the head fall quickly and leaving no lacing was disappointing; I was hoping for some head retention. With no head retention, no lacing was left on the glass too. Examining the color, I determined the beer charts around SRM 9, pale amber with golden hues. I see it and carbonation and a brilliantly clear beer. I wanted to see more head retention and some lacing on the glass. The appearance is average for this style.
Nosing the glass, I am taken down memory lane to the reggae fest in Utah. The strong presence of danky weed dominates; it is like sticking your nose in some fresh Ganja. A bouquet of fresh gardenia flowers, ripe peaches, crusty fresh artisan bread, an under-ripe pomelo, and a lite orange peel is what I smell. It was challenging to get past the weed high to detect anything else.
The first sip is spectacular, like sipping the tar with bong water as tea and cooled. The juicy danky herbal notes tell you this beer will not be taken lightly. Once my palate has recovered, I also taste over-riped sweet mangos, juicy peaches, doughy artisan bread that needs 15 more minutes in the brick hearth, and light mandarin orange peels.
The mouthfeel is astringent and heavy, followed by an unpleasant lasting finish that is not fresh. The body is medium-plus and has medium carbonation.
Trying to wrap my head around this beer has been a challenge. I do not want to label this a dankly herbal beer that is difficult to finish, but I will. The dankness and weed-like aromas bring back awful memory like a drunk night a frat boy has and never wants to experience again. Drinking my way through this case of beer has been an arduous task, one I prefer to avoid experiencing again. Some may enjoy it, but I have not.

I love this IPA. It is aptly named, it's the closest beer taste that I've had to dank.

Not really sure what some of the reviewers were thinking. You buy a beer called "Dank Dust", and get upset that it tastes like sticky, stanky weed? This beer, for what it is being sold as, is exceptional in my book. A big weed bomb of a beer. Try it if you like big-ish IPAs and weed.

Very skunky and dank pine forest with a nice sweetness on smell and taste. Kind of sweet at first and then a huge pine forest of hops with a skunky herbal finish. Drinks easy for an 8 percent beer. This beer actually is a lot different than other IPAS with its very distinct skunky smell and taste mixing in with another dank ipa so the 2 very distinct smells and aromas make this Very unique. Bitterness is definitely there but quickly fades with the sweetness of the beer,
