Pour into a Boundary Bay glass. Bought the glass in the brewery a few days before they closed their physical location.
Today, I walked passed the beer section in whole food and surprised to see the Boundary Bay beer in the fridge. I checked their website and it seems like boundary bay is keeping the lights on. They closed their physical location in Bellingham last fall but they still brew and sell their beer for retail.
Color: gold, clear.
Taste: piney, woody, and bready malt. The finish is clean and a bit of sweetness and bitterness in the aftertaste.
Overall, it's a very solid and clean IPA.

Pours a golden/copper; fully translucent. A dense white foam coats the top, providing decent lacing and good retention.
Nose is some citrus, pine, and bit of bready malt.
Taste follows suit with some syrupy sweet nearly tropical fruit like notes. Feel is crisp but the sweetness adds some texture. Overall, I think this held up fairly well. I think I’m going average across the board 3/5

Canned 5/23. Pour is a attractive medium amber with a finger of tight frothy head. Aroma is muted citrus and floral over a malty underpinning. Tasty beer, built on a solid hop base that provides plenty of taste with no harshness or off-flavors. Finish is clean. Modest 6.5% ABV is right where we like it.
Not sure if this is a rotator or a one-off. Good job on this one.

Pours an almost clear golden color with hints of copper, very nice dense and white head. Leaves some nice lacing as it settles. Nice retention in the form thin but consistent layer as it drinks down.
Aroma is citrus rind, blue spruce and a little bit of malty grain.
The taste is citrusy and spruce has well with a nice malt presence. Lends a nice subtle sweetness that almost lends a candied orange to the rind note.
Medium body but very easy drinker, I really like the carbonation on this beer, some thing about it gives it a smooth feel. A really nice well paired bitterness on a dry finishing beer.

12oz can courtesy of @beertunes stamped 05/09/20 poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass at fridge temp 16P OG, 66 IBU, 6.5% ABV per can. The beer pours bright medium amber, cedar perhaps, appearing light copper in the light. The head is very light khaki in color and settles to a thin cap that persists. Minimal lacing. The aroma is mild in strength featuring caramel malt and notes of earthy, resinous evergreen. The taste is more resiny cedar, earthy notes over a caramel backbone that is definitely second fiddle here but still strong. The hop impact is large here. Moderate bitterness throughout. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Lots of sticky hops and very little sweetness. Overall, very good. Exactly the way I like my IPAs: fresh, bitter and bright.

Got in a BIF from beertunes. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/8/2019. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Overall this is an awesome IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the moderately bitter/resinous/drying finish. Not overly aggressive. Feels like Columbus, Mosaic, Simcoe, Centennial, and Chinook. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice solid bready malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on West Coast style example.

Six pack of cans picked up at Walmart in Mill Creek, Washington.
Dated 10/08/19. Served in a pint glass.
Look- Clear golden amber color. Modest off-white head that hangs around, a good amount of lacing. Moderate carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Citrus (grapefruit, orange and lemon), tropical fruit (pineapple and mango), resinous pine, bready/honey malt, light stone fruit, berry and spicy/herbal notes.
Taste- Much like the nose but the pine is much more prominent , pretty well balanced.
Feel- Medium bodied. Crisp with a lingering dry hoppy finish. Medium carbonation on the tongue.
O- Pretty nice overall, I'd like to try a fresher batch of this.

12 ounce can with a date of 25/3/19. Poured into a tulip glass.
Pours a brilliantly clear copper with about a finger’s worth of light khaki head. Outside perimeter of the glass with a solid ring of foam. Woody, pine , citrus and peach nose.
Taste follows much of the nose. Very earthy, dirt rubbed pine needles on the forest floor. Bitter peanut skin, caramel and a touch of citrus. This is how I imagine the rain forests of Washington state smell.
Clean drinking, dry finish.
I appreciate the west coast style but for me the earthy components were just too much.

Clear bronze with a finger-and-a-half of tan-tinted foam head. Decent lacing.
Orange, pine and malt in the nose. These carry over to the taste. It has a nice piney, bitter flavor with a solid malt backbone that leaves faint hints of dark caramel, chocolate and nuts.
Excellent mouthfeel: full bodied and oily with appropriately-strong carbonation.
A really well-crafted, old-school, West Coast IPA. Hits the spot. Stamped 11/09/18 on the bottom.

Dark amber brew with plenty of foam in the tall goblet. Some aroma of peach and bark. Very sharp and rather acidic in the mouth. Bitter and woody. Starts out sweet, even a little sugary as you sip for awhile.
Burnt peach pits. Aftertaste of seeds and stems. Not much pleasure in this. Very bitter and desolate. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station.

Poured out of a 12 oz can into a snifter. A clean golden color on the pour, producing a clear amber in the snifter. There is a medium-sized light tan head that slowly settled and left a few cool laces. The first whiff brought a flash of pine and earthy (not dank) hoppy notes, but there is a prominent bready malt present. The hops make an appearance late as well. The taste is bitter up front. Piney and grassy with a lemony aspect on the finish. I also get a little grapefruit on the back end. The malt is there; a more bready and dry malt backbone. It's medium bodied and carbed. Very bitter on the finish with a slight aspirin quality. Clean dry finish. Very nice.

From a sixpack of cans poured into a pint glass. A pale gold color with a creamy white head. Smell is sweet and fruity. A citrus aroma. Taste has a caramel flavor up front with a mildly bitter wet citrus finish. A very drinkable IPA.
