32oz crowler dated 8/22/21 poured into a pint glass on 8/22/21.

Pours 2" of fluffy white head. Translucent golden color.

Sweet malt aroma of honey and cracker. Slightly floral and skunky.

Taste follows the nose, but more skunky and floral. Slightly bitter finish.

Light-bodied, crisp, and effervescent. Very little astringency.

A good, solid version of a Mexican lager. A hint of sweetness without the adjunct sweetness of popular versions.

Served in 16oz Pilsner glass. Poured a lightly hazy pale yellow color with 1/2 inch of white head that had low-moderate retention and no lacing. The aroma was typical for the style, soft earthy grains topped with lightly floral hops. Same on the tongue, with the addition of just a very slight touch of bitterness on the finish. The body was also fairly average for the style, light and smooth with a lightly semi-dry finish. Drinkability was good, especially on a hot summer day in the breweries beer garden. Overall, a fairly average take on the style. Nothing worth going out of your way for, but worth a shot if you see it.
