On tap at French Creek Tavern in Clymer, NY.
This one pours a semi-hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells kind of malty, with a damp hop aroma to speak, slightly overripe orange and mango, pineapple, grapefruit, etc.
This feels a bit muddled, with very little bitterness to cut across the too sweet malt and hop character. It wasn’t undrinkable by any means, it was just uninspiring.
Anything would go well with the wings at this super underrated rural joint, but honestly I would have been better off with water.

Pours a clear gold. Thick foam. Juicy aroma. Big juicy hop body. Solid bitterness. Very very juicy. Great flavor. The Juice Caboose is loose.

12 oz bottle traded from Beerchaeology. Poured into wide mouthed Ploughshare glass. No bottle dating.
Barely a hiss from the cap, I glug it hard to gain some head. The beer pours hazy/juicy bright yellow-honey with a creamy head of 1/2 finger. Nice lacing loops around and sticks as I swirl the glass.
The aroma is somewhat of a Funky Buddha/southern states kinda thing. Reminds me a little of the bad bottle of Bloom that I got from Parish. It's got the aroma of dirty/sweaty fruits, beets, plum, and lime.
My first impression of the flavor is that it's a bit too bitter for a NEIPA. The bitterness cuts sharp like a knife but is not clean like Warrior or Magnum or Galena, it is more pungent and heavy, perhaps even ashy and herbal. Slight candied passion fruit follows with some resiny orange/grapefruit/lemon cleaner stuff going on. The beet/cranberry flavor also surfaces. If I'm not paying attention to the flavors particularly and just swig it, it's not as bad.
Feel is creamy and poppy at the same time, no qualms here. The finish is kinda chalky though, with minimal resins but what does cling is bothersome.
Overall, not a particularly impressive NEIPA, I'd go back to the drawing board on this one.

Light gold look, a little thick, nice IPA taste, very little bitterness, nice hints of citrus
