Poured a golden amber color with less than a full finger whispy white head that faded quickly. Mostly clear with visible carbonation.
A somewhat mild but very pleasant floral and citrus, but also sweet and quite malty.
Medium mouth feel; creamy with a tingle from the hops and carbonation.
A nice balance of hops and caramel from the malt. Really quite sweet tasting. The alcohol is well hidden. Reminds me of an Imperial Pale Ale; the British malt flavor is recognizable. Will be looking for it in bottles soon.

Tried this on tap at the Flying Bison Brewery on its release day. Should be bottled soon. Slightly hazy, tawny gold-amber with a fluffy, aged-newsprint head. The nose is understated for what one would expect of the style, with the hop aromas being more floral and spicy than bombastically citric. This is actually very refreshing to encounter a bigger IPA that doesn't beat you over the head immediately. Juicy citrus blossom flavors predominate over a caramelly and toasty malt base. Slight alcohol prickliness, but no detectable burn. Medium light in body; crisp, juicy, and relatively quenching mouthfeel. A very quaffable DIPA, although please don't expect a characteristically "American" bouquet or flavor profile. This is more of an "English DIPA" if such a thing can be said to exist. Recommended.
