An unfiltered IPA that's a light golden haze in color reminiscent of a snowstorm. It's brewed with wintery hops such as Denali and Glacier and perfect for keeping warm this season.

On tap at BlueFire Bar and Grill in Tonawanda, NY.

This one pours a light clear dark orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This is quite malty, and pretty unimpressive. It's crisp, and moderately bitter, but the malt character is definitely obtrusive, and kind of overshadows the hop character. I don't know if the keg is possibly old, but Flying Bison is generally unimpressive, so it could just be a mediocre beer from the outset.

This is light bodied, very crisp, with a slightly lingering astringent bitterness on the back end. I'd hardly order this again.

This is your basic uninspired overly malty West Coast style IPA. Don't bother with it.

Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is straw gold, quite effervescent with fine bubbles erupting from the base, frothy off white head with fine to small bubbles, some lacing and good solid lingering top of at least 1/4 inch.

Smell is hop forward with subtle mosaic pineapple at first, but then becomes more citric, earth, and pine; malt is lightly toasted and lightly present in the aroma.

Taste is quite pleasant, good hop/malt balance, pleasant hop flavors with blend of light tropical, citrus, earth and pine; malt is a bit more evident than aroma with light toast, hint of biscuit and crackers.

Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, pleasant bitterness that lingers well and is not overdone.

Overall this is a great, simple IPA, really drinkable and provides fresh hop aroma and light malt balance.
