Poured to a FBBC pint glass from a growler filled up at the brewery.
Pours a deep reddish brown, dancing on the fence of black, with a 1 finger off white head that thins around the top of the glass. Nice toasted malts on the nose, roasted dark chocolate beans follow. Hints of espresso, nuts and sweet toffee fill out he finish. Sweet chocolate malts rush the mouth, tingle from the carbonation brings out a bitter coffee bean flavor that gives a nice bitter sweet finish. Medium bodied, soft and creamy on the feel, velvety even, nice easy to drink porter. Overall i enjoyed this beer alot, not the greatest or most complex porter, but easily a good and solid one.
