Enjoy this hazy pale ale with citrus and light pine notes brewed with Bavarian spruce tips, Norwegian Kveik yeast, and German Amarillo and Cascade hops.

Poured from 330mL can into my BeerAdvocate teku. Best by 3/16/26.
Appearance: pale medium-golden hue with a moderate turbidity and a thick head of pillowy ivory foam atop.
Smell: malty with a definite earthy funk. There's something a little off about the yeast aroma that I don't care for, but when I really get my nose into the glass the spruce tips pop out and smell great.
Taste: a bit on the sweet side with more of that kveik funk and a rather citrusy character, either from the hops or from the spruce tips. Some of that fermentation off-flavor from the aroma is there, but it's mostly drowned out by the tastier elements in the beer.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: it's an interesting beer: not without its flaws, but it's creative, and I like that.
