Amber beer, with a very fine ivory foam, which shows its elegance already in the glass. The aroma recalls hints of dried fruit and biscuits, with a light caramel undertone. The sip is very balanced, with sweet notes that recall those perceived on the nose and a refined bitter finish that balances them.
The light body and good final dryness make the drink very pleasant.
Rubra does not only indicate the color of the beer, amber with copper reflections, but also the passion and warmth of the malts that characterize it.

Copenhagen 26/12 2022. 33 cl small chubby bottle from Supermarco, Støbegodsvej, Kbh. SV. Deep red label with some hands and some leaves drawn clumsily in black.
Pours unclear, dark amber with a big off-white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick, fluffy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty and slightly toasted odor mingling with a light touch of alcohol. Caramel, toffee, toasted bread. Sharp scent of grains and alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, creamy and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a notable bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Very much on the sweet side - and hence not very bitter.
