A drop of golden sun.

The essence of beauty - bright and cool on a frost covered meadow at dawn. Flowery light as it dances through unfurling spring forests, emerald green and slightly bewitching. Refreshing as clear splashes of water, chilling sun kissed skin on endless July beaches.

Cheerful, inviting, exhilarating. Ready to quench thirst, launch festivities, set cities alight and let the games begin. Promising to put a smile on every lip, a glimmer in every eye and unfiltered cheer in any crowd.

Hopped with Citra.

Beijing Lager is a drop of golden sun.

Copenhagen 17/5 2019. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Anders Coisbo's new series named after major Cities for no apparent reason. The city name in Green on the can.

Pours unclear golden yellow with medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam almost covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.

Aroma has a gentle malty sweetness and some notable bitter notes. Sweet pale malts, fresh grass, Citrus. Quite fresh and a little acidic.

Medium strong carbonation. Thin but very lively texture.

Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is quite dry.

A quite fine Pale Lager with a good bitterness- which almost reminds me of a Pilsener.
