Lighthouse lager

From the brewery in Providence. No head with a clear tan to light caramel coloration. Scent was a pleasant surprise -- usually not expecting much beyond typical lager scents, but this one had a bit of maltiness come across. Taste followed with a fairly typical medium bodied lager profile but some nice maltiness comes out at the end that was again a bit of a surprise. The menu stated this is a clean and crisp and cannot say I disagree. A pleasant surprise after a long day of traveling.

No head, crystal clear pale tan color

Nose light lager, adjunct like malt, little sweet corny notes, floral herbal hops, little fruity lager note, light sulfur

Taste mild sweet grainy malt, bready grainy lager malts, soft lager with light fruity notes, grassy herbal flak hops with medium lighter bitterness, mild sticky extract like notes and light sulfury mineral, sweet malt, drier but sticky finish, drier finish little sticky,

Mouth is med bodied, creamy but low carbonation, little soft lagering

Overall not bad, nothing special and not that well done

Kind of a typical lager. Not bad not great. My wife loved it but I'm more of an IPA guy
