This mild ale has been given a good go with Aronia berries, from the brewer's
own garden.
Aronia contains bitter substances, which in company with a mild hop result in a gentle, very fruity beer.
Ingredients
Water, marris otter pale malt, cara hell malt, flaked oats malt, melanoidin malt, cane sugar, hops and yeast.

Copenhagen 5/8 2021. 50 cl bottle brought home from the brewery by my in-laws. Nr. Nissum's usual design with the silhouette of a Deer head on a white label this time with a red banner.
Pours unclear orange with a big white head. A bit of yeast floating near the bottom of the glass. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a tart, sour odor mingling with a sweeter scent of cane sugar. Tart aronia berries, citrus and a herbal touch of lemongrass. Candy-like sweet scent creeping in. A bit of caramel.
Fairly strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling - almost fizzy - texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate, tart sourness. Aftertaste is bit thin. Lingers for a bit. Sweet and fruity with a tart undertone. Finish is dry.
Well balanced and fresh flavored beer which avoids being too sweet with a healthy dose of tart berries.
