Poured from a 16oz can with a "Best By 08-26-17. Thanks @hophound.
The can is marked for the 14th Annual Rio Rancho Pork & Brew, July 1-3, 2017.
Pours a golden straw color. Fluffy, white head. Lite lacing.
Aroma is citrus with a hint of grass. Citrus begins with grapefruit and then allows a hint of floral lemon to come through.
Taste is primarily grapefruit in the beginning, with an interesting earthy note that I can't quite nail down. Slight bready malt comes through but then a bitterness pushes it to the background.
Mouthfeel is actually slightly fuller than many Session IPA's out there. That's a nice bonus.
Overall this is a fine Session IPA. As it states on the can, "This beer pairs well with BBQ on a hot summer day." I'd like to score some more and find out for myself.
