Served at the Selwood Public House, which features several Off the Rail flavors on tap, I tasted this and by-passed it for the chocolate stout.
Pours clear golden yellow, with medium foamy head.
Very light floral hopping, vaguely herbal, like basil.
Nothing to really grip the tastebuds...Light floral hopping, vaguely herbal or softly peaty, slight pungence...somewhat like a Sessions beer...definitely not citrusy, slightly bready malty
Slightly creamy taste on the tongue, though. I gave it higher marks than the stout which followed!
nothing off, perhaps somewhat delicate flavor; just not an all-evening sipper for me.

Found at Bailey's Taproom, served in a 10 oz. nonic. Listed at 5% abv, never seen or heard of this one before today.
A: 'Maple syrup' amber, clear with very little carbonation, a few stragglers rising slowly. Dense creamy head, khaki tan and slow to fall. Suds cling staunchly, a few larger bubbles amidst a blanketing cap. Coating lace, top to bottom.
S: Mild spice, strangely minty. Vague peat or smoke, hard to decipher. Cereal grain, really doesn't smell similar to any Scottish I've tried before. A brief whiff of Pine-Sol.
T: Toasted grain with a light honey-butter sweetness amidst some non-descript spice. Neutral smoke and gluey starchiness; grain husk and mild fruit/spice pick up steam a little with warming. Medicinal and piney bitterness to end on.
M: Thin feel, watery without much substance. Finishes clean, but in a forgettable way, save for some dirty, chalky bitterness lingering.
D: Always eager/willing to try new beers and support the locals; this one disappointed enough that I wouldn't return to. Another area brewery (Fearless) makes a much better version of a Scottish...
