It came, it saw and it conquered. An Ale that tops with its mild, light malty taste.
The light brown color goes well with the piquant hint of Cascade hops, which give it a fresh breath that matches the fine round body perfectly. A taste that sparks. Enjoy at 5 to 8 degrees.

Odense 22/7 2021. 50 cl bottle from Vinoble, Centrumpladsen, Svendborg. Stylized illustration from the H. C Andersen fable The Brave Tin Soldier.
Pours almost clear maroon with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is fairly intense with a prominent, malty odor with some fermented sweet dark fruit. Sweet caramel - on the verge of being candy-like. Burnt sugar. Plums and raisins. Light whiff of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and slightly cloying. Lingers for a unpleasant while. Finish sugary.
Way too sweet and cloying for my taste buds.
