Copenhagen 27/8 2020. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly, Søtorvet, Silkeborg. Green label with a big yellow E for Extra.
Quite gushy upon opening leaving a puddle on my kitchen table Pours unclear amber with a big yellow-ish head. Settles as 1 cm thick, uneven lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Massive lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet caramel odor mingling with a light sour odor. Caramel, toffee. A bit of tart berries. Blackcurrants.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter undercurrent. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Moderately bitter Bitter.
