1/2 Pint served by handpump into imperial 1/2 pint glass at the Cloister Pub in Edinburgh
A- Copper/Caramel body with a 2 finger creamy head that produces very good lacing and excellent head retention
S- Biscuits, a bitter burnt caramel note - similar to a creme brulee topping.
T- This bitter caramel malty flavour really comes through, with the toffee like sweetness subtley there in the background, with an underlying biscuity note. Faint hop bitterness in the end also.
M- Low carbonation with creamy mouthfeel
D- I enjoyed the malt profile of this beer alot. Not overly sweetly malted with that nice bitter note. Certainly quaffable!
