Copenhagen 19/1 2020. 33 cl sealed from Beerlivery (web-shop). Stylized drawing of a tree with orange apples complementing the quite amusing name of the beer.
Foamy and gushing upon opening. Combined with the sealing wax this is a guarantee for a messy kitchen table.
Pours unclear, almost hazy, orange with a big, bubbly white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer.
Moderate lacing. Aroma is intense, sweet, fruity with vineous notes. Sweet fermented apples, sugar, boozy wood, fruit wine. Light funky touch.
Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a tart twist. Semi-dry finish.
Quite atypical Saison getting something fine out of a Eiswein barrel.
