Bottled, I sincerely doubt it’s bottle conditioned and part of the box set
Pours a most inviting amber with good white head
Aroma of fruit sugars
Soapy new world hop

L: Slightly hazy dark amber color, one finger off white head, excellent lacing, light carbonation.

S: Malts, hops, yeast.

T: Hoppy, malty, dry finish.

F: Light bodied, extremely drinkable. Not much going on.

O: Decent beer. Would happily drink again.

Bottle conditioned. Clear amber with a thin wispy head.
Mosaic hops to the fore upon smelling. Pithy orange which continues into the flavour. Mildly bitter. Butter notes.
Medium body. Gentle carbonation. Leaves the lips rather sticky.
A cross over brew that doesn't really come together.

L- Mid chestnut, clear, pours with 3mm tan head clearing swiftly.
S- Oh dear, mango and lychee rather than beer, this tends not to bode well for me.
T- Fruity/floral/quite perfumed. On the plus side it's not a mega-hopped hop-bomb as the smell suggested. Mango and lychee come through in the flavour too BTW. My palate slowly part adjusts to it, it's fruitiness is now prominent.
F- There is some hoppy-dryness but far less austere than feared. I expect a foundation of 6.0% gives it a platform on which to seek redemption.
O- It's very fruity/perfumed, you need to like that to enjoy this one. Interesting to try, but not my thing.
- ps pour carefully, it's bottle conditioned.
